Samuel Yang, M.D.

Dr. Samuel Yang is an adult psychiatrist providing comprehensive psychiatric care. Mental suffering is complex and Dr. Yang believes that the best care necessitates thoughtful consideration of all aspects of what it is to be human. He seeks to create an empathic and therapeutic space that encourages exploration to identify goals and implement a shared plan of treatment.

Dr. Yang completed his general psychiatry residency at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt Psychiatry Residency Training Program in Baltimore and Towson Maryland where he served diverse patient populations across inpatient, consult-liaison, and outpatient settings, utilizing both medication management and psychotherapy. His approach is integrative with foundations in psychodynamics and behavioral therapies.

In his free time, Dr. Yang loves food, all things art, and spending time with friends and family.
