Diane L. Lawrence, PMHNP-BC, received both her Bachelor of Science and Master of
Science degrees from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore. Since
2005, Ms. Lawrence has practiced as a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in
the Baltimore/DC region. Her extensive experience in this role reflects her commitment
to providing high-quality mental health care within the community.
Diane L. Lawrence, PMHNP-BC, possesses a wealth of experience in the field of
psychiatric nursing and continues to work with children, families, adolescents, and
adults. Her professional background includes service in a variety of settings such as
inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and clinical research facilities. Through these roles,
she has provided care for individuals diagnosed with a broad spectrum of mental health
conditions such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders,
depression, substance use disorders, psychosis, and autism spectrum disorders.
Ms. Lawrence is committed to delivering personalized care through comprehensive
diagnostic assessments tailored to each individual's unique needs. She emphasizes the
careful and appropriate use of pharmacotherapy, ensuring that medication management

Her advanced training includes Brief Strategic Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral

In addition, Ms. Lawrence is an active member of The Menopause Society. She
provides basic hormone replacement therapy for individuals navigating perimenopause
and menopause who experience psychiatric symptoms. These may include depression,
anxiety, insomnia, or other mental health manifestations associated with hormonal
changes. Through this targeted approach, Ms. Lawrence ensures that patients receive
